Wang Wenbin, Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, and Leading Scholar at Xi’an Jiaotong University. After graduating from university in 1985, he joined China Central Television (CCTV), where he has been dedicated to reporting and disseminating major international and domestic events in politics, economics, society, culture, and sports. He has consistently focused on studying the latest trends in media development and has concentrated on cutting-edge research in new media. Wang has hosted multiple social science projects and published several monographs. He has initiated a series of brand programs and columns for radio, television, and online audio-visual media, and has established various new media platforms, enterprises, large-scale events, and projects. He is a national cultural expert and one of the “Four Batches of Talents,” a “morally and artistically outstanding” television artist, a special contributor to China’s online audio-visual industry, and a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance.
